I want my customers to enter a code at the checkout to get a discount on specific products in their basket

You can use coupon codes to take either a percentage or direct discount off an item or several items in the customer's basket. The customer can enter more than one coupon code against their order to get varying discounts on different products.

How do I set this up?

- In the menu at the top of the page click 'Marketing' > 'Promotions and Offers' > 'Coupon Codes'

- Click the hyperlink 'Add Coupon' 

- Next, enter the details about the coupon.

Name: Choose a name for the coupon.

Code: This is the code the customer needs to enter on the basket page.

Date to: Choose a date that the coupon can start being used.

Date from: Choose a date that the coupon will expire.

Coupon Type: Choose whether the coupon takes off a percentage or a direct amount of money.

Amount: Choose the discount percentage or amount.

- Select the products that the coupon is valid for, and click 'Save' when done.
