How is an order created?
There are many different types of orders. A customer can create an order by purchasing something on your site or you can create an order on behalf of the customer.
Types of Orders
Website Orders: The customer creates an order by browsing your website and adding products to their basket, you will see the order in the Sales Manager and you will be notified of the order by email. Even if the customer doesn't pay for their products the order will still be logged in the Sales Manager and will show as a 'not completed order'.
Mail/Telephone Orders: You can create an order for the customer by completely a mail/telephone order for them. If a customer contacts you and asks you to create an order for them then you can do this from the 'Control Panel'. You can pick and choose the products the customer wants and enter the billing details on their behalf.
Marketplace Orders: Customers can purchase items from other places such as your eBay shop or from the Sellr marketplace. You will be notifed of any orders that come from outside your website and they will be marked to show where that order came from.
