Amazon Associates

You can link your online ecommerce store to an Amazon Associates account if you have one. This allows you to link items for sale on Amazon rather than having to source them for yourself. You earn commission from Amazon when a customer buys an item they accessed by clicking the links on your website. In essence, you are advertising a product that is available on Amazon and earn money when a customer purchases the product through links on your page. To connect your store to Amazon Associates, follow these steps:

• From the Admin panel, look to the left and select Marketing > Amazon Associates:

• You must have an Amazon Associate account to configure the settings here. If you do not have one already, please follow this link and register an account (https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk/)

• Once you have registered, you will need to contact Amazon and request access to the Product advertising API. There is an option to request this on the Amazon Associates control panel which you will have access to after you register.

• If you have already registered and been provided access to the Product advertising API, you should now have the information required. Input the Tag ID, Access Key ID and Secret Key that Amazon provided you when you requested access to the Product advertising API

• Change the Amazon settings at the bottom left to your own preferences and then select the orange Save changes button to connect the accounts
